Alice

Alice is a 13’6” Wenaumet Kitten Catboat with a Marconi rig.

In 2021 Alice was scouted at our Chester location to star in The Good House, a movie featuring Sigourney Weaver & Kevin Kline shot on the south shore of Nova Scotia.

Alice was given a new red paint job and a temporary name and after the shoot received a partial restoration. Tern replaced frames, repaired deck structure and installed a new deck, we built new rub rails, a centreboard, centreboard trunk and combings. We finished off the project with fresh paint, varnish and put back her original name.

Alice is one of our regular Mooring to Mooring clients which means that it is stored on site over winter, and we attend to any maintenance before delivering it back to the mooring each summer ready for the sailing season.
