The Swampscot

The Swampscot is a Lap-Strake Fishing Dory locally built in Nova Scotia based on a 1912 design. Built by local fishermen for racing back in the day, The Swampscots are a fun day-sailer for anyone wanting to get out on the ocean and we at Tern are fortunate to have one as a part of our staff fleet!

For many years now our Swampscot has been sailed by staff in the summer months and maintained by the same staff in the winter months.
